Space Availability - Local History Room Study Room

The Local History Room is located on the Second Floor of the Library in Teenburgh. The room can be booked for a maximum of two (2) hours, reserved in one (1) hour increments, and can be used to work, study or conduct video conferences for non-commercial purposes. The Local History Room can accommodate a maximum of five (5) people. 

  • Reservations are available only at the times listed in the schedule. 
  • The Local History Room is available on:
    • Fridays from 10am - 12:15pm (last booking at 11:15am)
    • Saturdays from 10am - 4pm
  • You can only reserve one appointment at a time, up to seven (7) days in advance. Once the original appointment is completed, you may book your next appointment. 
  • If you cannot make your appointment, please cancel through the link in your confirmation email or by calling 914-721-8225. This will allow someone else to make an appointment. If you aren't feeling well, stay home. 

How to book an appointment:

  1. Click on the date you would like to make an appointment for, or click the "Next Available" button.
  2. Click on an available time slot (green box) for a space to start a booking at that time. Use the horizontal scroll bar to view additional times in the grid. 
  3. Enter your name and email and click Submit My Booking. You will then receive a confirmation email.

Checking In

  1. Please check-in with the Librarian at the first floor Information Desk. 
    • Arrive on time for your appointment. Your appointment slot will be reserved for you for the duration of your reservation. 
  2. Present the email confirmation to the Librarian. 

Checking Out

  1. Please pack all of your materials and belongings. 
  2. Please inform the Librarian at the first floor Information Desk that you are finished with your reservation.
