Fitness Flair in the Chair with Ellen Cohen In-Person
Improve strength, stamina and flexibility in Ellen Cohen's chair yoga class set to fun music! This monthly class includes basic exercises to work all muscle groups and includes stretching, yoga, guided meditation and breath work. Chair yoga improves balance and body awareness, important for fall prevention. This class is for all levels--leaving participants invigorated, yet relaxed!

Ellen Cohen is a certified yoga instructor, specializing in teaching chair yoga, with over 50 years experience in physical fitness, including strength training, building stamina, guided meditation and breathing, deep relaxation techniques, chair and Vinyasa yoga. Ellen enjoys individual and group instruction and is appreciated for constructive, sensitive and enthusiastic support. She teaches at locations throughout Westchester, and is an Adjunct Professor of Body Movement at SUNY/WCC. Ellen also volunteers as an Activity Advisor in a new initiative with Northwell Health, assisting people of all ages and abilities to become more physically active.
