Virtual Presentation from César E. Chávez National Monument Online

Widely recognized as the most important Latino leader in the United States during the twentieth century, César E. Chávez led farm workers and supporters in the establishment of the country's first permanent agricultural union. His leadership brought sustained international attention to the plight of U.S. farm workers and secured higher wages and safer working conditions for them. Today, the National Park Service preserves his home, and the headquarters of the United Farm Workers in Keene, California, as César E. Chávez National Monument.

Join us to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a virtual presentation from César E. Chávez National Monument! Bring your questions about César E. Chávez, Dolores Huerta, the United Farm Workers labor union, and the role of Hispanic and Latinx leadership in the struggle for workers' rights.
