The Swallows of Lunetto - a Reading and Discussion with Author Joseph Fasano In-Person
read from his latest work, The Swallows of Lunetto.
The Swallows of Lunetto follows a young couple who, escaping from Italian fascism during the end of the Second World War, settle in war-ravaged Lunetto, a provincial village in Italy's Calabria region, in the summer of 1945. When Alexandra meets a masked figure in the streets of Lunetto, she cannot imagine what she will learn about history and her place in it.
A limited number of copies of The Swallows of Lunetto will be available to purchase. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Friends of the Greenburgh Library.
