Juneteenth Zoom Celebration Online
Join us with your family to celebrate the rich history of Juneteenth. Hosted by Chanel Murray, we will explore:
- What is Juneteenth and why do we celebrate this important holiday today?
- Listen to a personal narrative of an enslaved person reflecting on that period of time
- Unpack General Order 3
- Unpack poems "Juneteenth, We Free?" and "We Resisted" from All Black Errythang Poems by Chanel Murray
- Tips on how we can celebrate today and support efforts for equity throughout the year
