Jazz Conversations: Summer of Singers--Great Ladies Who Sing and Swing! Part One In-Person / Online
Join us in-person or virtually as Frank DeLigio leads this lively summer series featuring outstanding female jazz vocalists. We'll pay tribute to stars like Billie, Ella, Sarah, Nina, Bessie and Peggy, as well as lesser known, but brilliant artists like The Boswell Sisters, Carmen McRae, Mildred Bailey, Anita O'Day and Helen Forrest. We'll also spotlight some forgotten stars such as Una Mae Carlisle, Hazel Scott and Blossom Dearie.
