New York State Archivist, Tom Ruller and New York Genealogical and Biography President, D. Joshua Taylor will explore the best practices for maintaining home archives, including identifying materials to preserve, organizing objects and papers, and steps to ensure family treasures remain in good condition.

D. Joshua Taylor, President of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, is a nationally known and recognized genealogical author, lecturer, and researcher. Taylor is a frequent speaker at family history events across the globe and hosts the popular PBS series "Genealogy Roadshow".

Attend this program to receive practical advice on how best to store family photographs, letters, diaries and more.  We will watch a previously recorded session from January 2021 and then President Taylor will be available to answer questions from the audiance.
