Tai Chi In-Person
Join us for GPL's Tai Chi program with certified instructor Arnold Breisblatt. Mr. Breisblatt has been teaching Tai Chi for over 30 years and is a member of the American Tai Chi and Qi Gong Association.
Tai Chi pronounced "ti ji", is a mind-body practice that originated in China as a martial art system. Tai Chi, as taught today, consists of 3 components: exercise, meditation, and self defense. The movements of the form are continuous and performed in slow motion, causing little stress to the body’s joints. Tai Chi also is a mindful meditation exercise that involves mental concentration, thus building a keen sense of awareness and sensitivity to our surroundings. It is an ideal exercise for people of all ages and physical conditions!
