The Brenda Connor-Bey Learning to See™ Legacy Workshop Series In-Person

The Brenda Connor-Bey Learning to See™ Legacy Workshop Series focuses on writing poems about art, and exploring all creative writing, as well as other ways to "see" poetry through the "ekphrastic" style.  (Ekphrasis = “Description” in Greek.
An ekphrastic poem is a vivid description of a scene or, more commonly, a work of art.)

Students enroll for three-session workshops of two hours each. Partially funded by Poets&Writers, the Friends of Greenburgh Library, and Greenburgh Arts & Culture, workshops are free and open to the public. The September class is for beginning poetry students and those who have not taken previous Learning to See workshops. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all three sessions. After registration limit is reached, a Wait List will be formed and students contacted as spaces become available. Teacher: Estha Weiner
