Shared Stories, Open Minds for Grades 5-8 and their families In-Person
Shared Stories, Open Minds for Grades 5-8 and their families. The read-aloud selection is I Am Jazz by Jessica Herthel and Jazz Jennings.
GLSEN (The Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Netwrok) is collaborating with high school students from local LGBTQIA Alliance Groups to offer a diversity program to the community. The students will read and discuss age appropriate books that contain themes of gender roles, diversity and acceptance. The event will include a related craft project and snacks. Registration suggested. Walk-ins welcome.
