Presentation by: Scott Ahrens Biography creator of the Student Protection Unit at the Department of Financial Servicesand works as the Student Protection Program Administrator at the NYS Department of Financial Services. He came to DFS with over 14 years of experience in the student lending and banking industry. Having worked in both the private and public sector, he has the experience to assist the residents and consumers in New York resolve student lending complaints and provide them with the information they need to make sound financial decisions.
