The College Admissions Process: A Detailed Overview
For high school students and their adults.
During this free live online video workshop, participants gain a full view understanding of the college admissions process including:
- What high school courses should students take that will best prepare them for college?
- The SATs and ACT examinations
- Basic college researching
- The college application process, e.g. timeline and order of operations
- What college’s look for in an applicant/what admissions officers want
- The layered differences in application plans, e.g. Early Decision, Early Action, Regular Decision
- Match categories, e.g. Reach v. Target v. Safer
This workshop is fully integrated and interactive, which allows participation from anywhere. Participants are able to see, listen, and speak directly with the presenter (if they choose) during the online session. This includes screen sharing and a full suite of collaboration features.
