AAUW In-Person
Kelli Owens, Director of Women's Affairs for New York State, will give us an inside look at how the government addresses women's issues in her talk "Understanding Women's Policy and Politics in New York State." Ms. Owens was appointed Director of Women's Affairs in the NY State Governor’s Office in 2017. Prior to this position, she held the position of Legislative Affairs Coordinator at the Office of Children and Family Services. Prior to joining the administration, Ms. Owens was the Vice President of External Affairs for Family Planning Advocates/ Planned Parenthood Advocates of New York.
