Teen Tech Helper Training In-Person

 
 
Two of the many volunteering options VolunTeens have at the library are Teen Tech Helper (TTH), Teen Desk Helper.
 
If you at a GPL Teen Volunteer and are interested in helping people with computers and technology as part of your volunteering please attend one of the following trainings listed below (in addition to your Orientation). You will receive community service hours for attending, and once you are trained as a Teen Tech Helper/ Self Check Out Helper, you will be eligible to volunteer and be assigned shifts as a Teen Tech Helper and/or Self Check Out Helper. 
  • Teen Tech Helper - You are assigned one or more reoccurring weekly shifts where you will be in a library computer lab helping the public with computer and technology help (web searching, wifi, printing, email, & much more. 
  • Teen Desk Helper - Basically a Teen Tech Helper in the Teen room who also shows people around and helps them find books and stuff like that in Teenburgh.
*If you have already attended Teen Tech Helper/Self Check Out Helper Training, re-training is NOT required, so you don't have to do it again unless you want a refresher. **
