Empowered Aging through Strength Training- Rescheduled from 2/23 In-Person

Join Iron Health Physical Therapist, Dr. David Spielvogel to explore the vital role of strength training in maintaining health and independence as we age. Dr. David will share concepts of strength training that apply directly to fall prevention, bone and joint health, and will demonstrate basic exercises to help lay a foundation of strength to foster overall well-being.

Join us again on Monday, March 9 to put the theory to practice with Strength Training for Active Aging with Iron Health Lead Trainer, Oliver Peterson.

About our presenter:

David Spielvogel received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College following the completion of a degree in Exercise Science from Wake Forest University. As someone who values movement at all stages of life, David has developed an interest in treating adults of all ages and all capabilities. He takes an active, evidence-informed approach that pulls from principles of biomechanics and psychosocial care to help patients achieve their personal goals.

As a former athlete and lifelong advocate of exercise, David enjoys staying active through weight-training, and hiking, as well as participating in several recreational sports throughout the year.
