GPL Film Club In-Person / Online

Do you like watching movies? Join the GPL Film Club! All meetings are on Wednesday at 7pm. Join via Zoom or meet us in-person in the Small Conference Room. Please watch the movie for discussion on your own ahead of time. Physical copies of the film are held at the library and are available for pickup on the first-floor at circulation, while supplies last. Registration is required. 

  • Wednesday, January 28, 2026 - Being There (1979) directed by Hal Ashby. Copies will be available starting January 7.
  • Wednesday, February 25, 2026 - Boyz n the Hood (1991) directed by John Singleton. Copies will be available starting February 4.
  • Wednesday, March 25, 2026 - Modern Times (1936) directed by Charlie Chaplin. Copies will be available starting March 4.
  • Wednesday, April 22, 2026 - A Better Tomorrow (1986) directed by John Woo. Copies will be available starting April 8.

*Please check back for meeting dates for August through November.

*There are no film club meetings in May, June, July, and December.
