Stitchfest

Stitchfest In-Person

Stitchfest is a free meet-up for knitters and crocheters of all skill levels.

Stitchfesters gather together for fun, to learn, to admire finished projects, for inspiration, to get help with new skills, and to enjoy the company of other yarn enthusiasts.

This is a drop-in program--no need to register. We are very casual. If you can't make it at 2:30, come whenever you can. If you have to leave early, go ahead. The meet-up does end promptly at 4:30; therefore if you need help please come as close to 2:30 pm as possible. We generally meet in the Multipurpose Room but in case of conflict we may meet in other areas of the library.

The Friends of the Library support Stitchfest and we have some supplies to get you started. If you are unsure if knitting or crocheting is the hobby for you don't go shopping yet. Instead, borrow the needles and yarn from the Library before you make an investment.

Please join us-- everyone is welcome. And remember, there are no mistakes in knitting, just design considerations.
