Building a Better Greenburgh: Community Listening Circles In-Person
Community Listening Circles with Councilwoman Gina Jackson and The Greenburgh Restorative Circle Project
Fair and Affordable Housing in Greenburgh
Gaining access to fair and affordable housing has been an ongoing issue for generations of Greenburgh residents. Now, rising taxes, higher rents and a shrinking market supply are adding to housing insecurity for renters and homeowners, alike. Older residents are finding it difficult to age in place, young families are being displaced, and property ownership continues to be a privilege only a few can afford. What are your concerns about housing in Greenburgh and how can community leaders, organizations and we, as community members, work together to address housing equity and affordability?
Join our Community Listening Circle and share your experiences and ideas in a constructive, congenial environment where every voice is respected, every voice is valued, and every voice is heard.
The Greenburgh Restorative Circle Project (GRCP) is a community building initiative to promote race equity through civic engagement and community action. For more information, contact: greenburghrcp@gmail.com
