Today, Riverkeeper continues its fight, seeking out polluters and teaming with citizen scientists and activists to reclaim the Hudson River.
Riverkeeper‘s vision is of a Hudson teeming with life, with engaged communities boating, fishing and swimming throughout its watershed.
Drew Gamils joined Riverkeeper in April 2023. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace
University in 2016, with a Certificate in Environmental Law. During law school, Drew held a clerkship with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency—Air Enforcement Division in Washington, D.C. She is also a graduate of the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic.
Prior to law school, Drew received a B.S. in Environmental Studies: Policy, Planning and Law, magna cum laude, and a minor in Urban Environmental Science, from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 2013.
