Real Reads, Non-Fiction Book Club In-Person
Real Reads is the library's new book club for adults. Narrative nonfiction is the focus of Real Reads. Selections include memoirs, biographies, adventures, history, true crime, current topics, science, and more.
This is an opportunity to meet new people and enjoy stimulating, engaging, and friendly conversations.
Real Reads meets on Saturday mornings at 10:30 am in the library.
Registration is required.
Print copies of selected titles will be available at the first-floor circulation desk, while supplies last.
Borrow the electronic version directly from the library’s catalog.
- Saturday, August 2, 2025 - The Weight of Nature: How a Changing Climate Changes Our Brains by Clayton Page Aldern. Print copies will be available starting May 3, 2025.
- Saturday, September 6, 2025 - Nexus: A Brief History of Information Networks from the Stone Age to AI. Print copies will be available starting August 2, 2025.
- Saturday, October 4, 2025 - When Women Ran Fifth Avenue: Glamour and Power at the Dawn of American Fashion by Julie Satow. Print Copies will be available September 6, 2025.
- Saturday, November 1, 2025 - An Immense World by Ed Yong. Print copies will be available October 4, 2025.
There is no book discussion in June, July, and December.
