Chalk the Walk GPL for Mental Health! In-Person
***May is Mental Health Awareness Month***
GRAB A PIECE OF CHALK and channel your creativity to decorate our front sidewalk (or our mural) with images and messages of positivity, hope and resilience as we recognize mental health as vital to our total well-being and offer support and encouragement to people of all ages living with mental health and related challenges.
This event is part of the inaugural Chalk the Walk (have the talk!) Westchester community-wide creative season of action (3/31-5/31/25) to raise awareness and spark conversations about mental health, wellness, and suicide prevention.
ALL AGES ARE WELCOME! Chalk and positive vibes provided, along with resources to get these important conversations started! In the event of inclement weather, Chalk the Walk GPL will be held on Wednesday, May 7 from 4-6 PM.
Greenburgh Public Library is a proud partner of Chalk the Walk Westchester and a member of the Westchester County Suicide Prevention Coalition, the sponsor of this community-wide initiative.
