Cybersecurity Education Series In-Person
Join us for a special Cybersecurity Education Series presented by The Greenburgh Teen Task Force! This engaging program is designed for younger children who are just starting their digital journeys and seniors who want to feel more confident navigating technology.
Each session will cover essential topics to help participants understand and safely interact with today’s digital world. Topics include:
- Introduction to Types of Technology: Learn about devices, apps, and tools you might use every day.
- Recognizing Scams: How to spot and avoid common scams that target personal information.
- Viruses and Malware: What they are, how they spread, and how to protect yourself.
- Creating Secure Online Accounts: Tips and tricks for crafting strong passwords and staying safe online.
- Using a Specific App: Hands-on guidance to help you explore and master a useful app.
Whether you’re taking your first steps in the digital world or looking to enhance your tech skills, this series will empower you with the knowledge to stay safe online.
