Intro to Gyrokinesis® with Haruko Stanton In-Person

Join Haruko Stanton to learn and practice Gyrokinesis®! Gyrokinesis ® is a movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences.

This session is appropriate for all fitness levels and movements will be performed from a chair.

Headshot of Haruko StantonHaruko Stanton is a personal trainer and Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT500) and has completed anatomy classes at Harvard University/HarvardX and Stanford University. She developed a passion for exercise and health as a teenager. In 1983 she started working as an instructor and trainer in Kobe and Osaka, Japan and in 1994 she launched PersonalTraining.jp, making her one of the pioneers of personal training in Japan.

Over the last 30 years, Haruko has taught and trained thousands of people in Japan and New York, is always learning new things, and is passionate about not only learning more about health and wellness but also sharing her knowledge and experience with others. 

Haruko learned Ashtanga Yoga from Master Ken Harakuma and Sivananda Yoga from Master Sitharamananda. She was certified in Gyrokinesis® directly by founder Juliu Horvath after studying with Billy Macagnone. Haruko has received further guidance from various organizations and instructors such as Mat Pilates, Prenatal Yoga, Indian Government Certified Yoga Instructor, and Siddhi Yoga Online Course.
