Stitchfest

Stitchfest In-Person

Stitchfest is a free meet up for knitters and crocheters of all skills levels from the absolute newbie to expert. Even if you are just thinking about learning to knit or crochet this meet up is for you.

Stitchfest meets on Thursdays, but never on the 1st Thursdays of the month. Stitchfest takes the month of July off.

Stitchfesters gather together for fun, to learn, to admire finished projects, for inspiration, to get help with new skills, and enjoy the company of other yarn enthusiasts.

There is no registration and no attendance requirements. We are very casual, if you can't make it at 2:30 pm, come whenever you can. If you have leave early, go ahead.  The meet up does end promptly at 4:30 pm; therefore if you need help please come as close to 2:30 pm as possible.

The Friends of the Library support Stitchfest and we have some supplies to get you started. If you are unsure if knitting or crocheting is the hobby for you don't go shopping yet, borrow the needles and yarn from the Library before you make an investment.

Please join us, everyone is welcome. And remember, there are no mistakes in knitting, just design considerations.
