Stitchfest

Stitchfest In-Person

Stitchfest is a free meet up for knitters and crocheters of all skills levels from the absolute newbie to expert. Even if you are just thinking about learning to knit or crochet this meet up is for you. This is not a class, but help is available on the second Thursday of the month.

Stitchfest meets on Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:30.

Stitchfesters gather together for fun, to learn, to admire finished projects, for inspiration, to get help with new skills, and enjoy the company of other yarn enthusiasts.

There is no registration and no attendance requirements. We are very casual, if you can't make it at 2:30 pm, come whenever you can. If you have to leave early, go ahead.  The meetup does end promptly at 4:30 pm.

The Friends of the Library support Stitchfest and we have some supplies to get you started. If you are unsure if knitting or crocheting is the hobby for you don't go shopping yet, borrow the needles and yarn from the Library before you make an investment.

Please join us, everyone is welcome. And remember, there are no mistakes in knitting, just design considerations.
