Join the Westchester County Mental Health Collaborative for this informative and interactive workshop geared toward community members and professionals who serve older adults. The program will discuss services for older individuals who may have multiple levels of need.

  • Explore what needs are common among this group of older adults
  • Learn how to effectively engage with older adults in need of care
  • Hear from clinicians and professionals about available services and resources

The program includes presentations from Westchester area professionals on topics relevant to their experience working with older adults. Additionally, representatives of several Westchester organizations will provide overviews of the resources they provide to support the various needs of the older adult population. The Westchester County Geriatric Mental Health Collaborative is a multiagency workgroup that seeks to improve the delivery of mental health services to older adults; members include the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health, Weill Cornell Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry, Pace Women's Justice Center,  Mental Health Association of Westchester, Lexington Center for Recovery, and Family Services of Westchester.
