Arbor Day Sapling Giveaway In-Person
To celebrate Arbor Day, Greenburgh Public Library and Con-Edison are giving away saplings with the expert assistance of Ardsley Pollinator Pathway volunteers, and the support of the Town of Greenburgh's Conservation Advisory Council. Saplings are limited to one per household and will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis while quantities last.
There will be a variety of saplings to choose from. Attend the educational event on Wednesday, April 24 to learn how to select and support newly planted saplings.
Saplings include large growing trees like Red Maple, and Black Oak, and shrubs such as Red Twig Dogwood, Highbush Cranberry, Virginia Rose, Ninebark, and Silky Dogwood.
