Real Reads, Non-Fiction Book Club In-Person
Real Reads is the library's new book club for adults. Narrative nonfiction is the focus of Real Reads. Selections include memoirs, biographies, adventures, history, true crime, current topics, science, and more.
This is an opportunity to meet new people and enjoy stimulating, engaging, and friendly conversations.
Real Reads meets on Saturday mornings at 10:30 am in the library.
Registration is required.
Print copies of selected titles will be available at the first-floor circulation desk, while supplies last.
Borrow the electronic version directly from the library’s catalog.
- Saturday, January 3, 2026 - Memorial Days: A Memoir by Geraldine Brooks. Print copies will be available starting November 2025.
- Saturday, February 7, 2026 - Desi Arnaz: The Man Who Invented Television by Todd S. Purdum. Print copies will be available starting Janaury 3, 2026.
- Saturday, March 7, 2026 - Money, Lies, and God by Katherine Stewart. Print Copies will be available February 7, 2026.
- Saturday, April 4, 2026 - The End of Race Politics by Coleman Hughes. Print copies will be available March 7, 2026.
There is no book discussion in June, July, and December.
