Ending the Silence: Mental Health Awareness for Teens with Parents/Trusted Adults In-Person / Online

This virtual presentation by the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Westchester affiliate gives teens, along with their parents and/or trusted adults an opportunity to learn the warning signs of a mental health condition, how to get help and how to help a friend. The presentation includes an informative PowerPoint and short videos, as well as personal testimony from a young adult living with a mental health diagnosis, about his/her journey to recovery.  

Please note: This presentation is appropriate for middle and high school age youth and older.  Participation with a trusted adult is strongly encouraged. 

Ending The Silence will be a hybrid event, with an in-person viewing of the virtual Zoom presentation to be held at Theodore D. Young Community Center or a totally virtual option to view the virtual presentation remotely via Zoom

White Plains, NY 10607 - Doors open at 6 PM.

Virtual attendees will be emailed the link to the Zoom virtual meeting.
